Smart Coal Mine

Huahom has independently developed an iris and facial recognition terminal for personnel entering and exiting mine shafts, specifically designed for coal mine scenarios. It is equipped with a temperature detection smart security checkpoint system and intelligent cabinet management systems for miner lamp cabinets and locker cabinets. This solution can be deployed at the mine shaft entrance to intelligently analyze personnel going up and down the mine, enabling functions such as "trusted identity authentication" and "non-contact precise temperature measurement."

Solution Background

On October 23, 2021, the General Office of the National Mine Safety Administration issued the "Notice on Strengthening the Monitoring and Management of Underground Personnel Positions in Coal Mines (Mine Safety Comprehensive [2021] No. 60)," in which Article 8 mentions, "Encourage the use of advanced and applicable technologies. Coal mines should, based on actual conditions, promote the use of systems with precise positioning capabilities to improve the accuracy of underground personnel position monitoring. Actively apply advanced technologies such as image surveillance, iris attendance, and trajectory route comparison analysis to achieve dual-system or multi-system data verification functions, providing technical support to eliminate issues like entering without a card or using another person's card." Due to the special nature of coal miners' workplaces, miners almost always have coal dust on their faces when exiting the mine, making "black faces" common. Additionally, issues such as worn fingerprints and dirty hands make fingerprint and facial recognition methods inconvenient for quickly verifying workers' identities. In contrast, iris recognition, with its high security, resistance to damage, and non-contact features, fully meets the application requirements of this special industry.

Technical Advantages

Huahong Digital Database has independently developed an iris and facial recognition plus temperature detection smart security checkpoint system for personnel entering and exiting mine shafts, as well as intelligent cabinet management systems for miner lamp cabinets and locker cabinets, tailored for coal mine scenarios. This system is installed and applied at the mine shaft entrance to intelligently analyze personnel going up and down the mine, enabling functions such as "trusted identity authentication" and "non-contact precise temperature measurement."

Scenario Application

In the mine shaft entrance security inspection hall, employees undergo iris and facial recognition and alcohol testing before descending into the mine. A large screen can display real-time data on employee shaft entry and exit security checks, as well as leadership shift data, presenting the security data clearly on the screen at a glance. The system uses a dedicated server for storing and managing detection data from each system, and is supported by a dedicated workstation as the security management platform.
